Kittian is Anguilla's 3rd murder victim of 2018; two assisting police with their investigation

The Royal Anguilla Police Force is investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident which occurred in Garlin Bottom, Island Harbour on Wednesday 7th November, 2018 around 5:45pm. As a result of the incident the victim,   35yr. old Lofton Foreman, a St. Kitts National who resided in Sachasses received gunshot wounds to his upper body.  He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for medical attention where he was later pronounced dead.

31 yr. old Salim Richardson of The Corpse, East End and 23 yr. old Shaquille Gumbs of Garlin Bottom, Island Harbour who were named as persons of interest in the ongoing investigation and who were wanted by police,  turned themselves in on Friday.

The Royal Anguilla Police Force reported that at 9:30am on Friday 9th November, 2018 Salim Richardson of The Copse, East End voluntarily surrendered to the police at The Valley Police Station accompanied by his lawyer Michael Bourne. Later in the day Mr. Shaquille Gumbs reportedly surrendered into police custody accompanied by his lawyer.

The Commissioner of Police and members of the Royal Anguilla Police Force has extended sympathy to the grieved family and friends of the deceased.

A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to the family.
