The ASD would like to remind all businesses operating in Anguilla that the completion and return of the National Accounts
and the Balance of Payments questionnaires are due on Wednesday March 31, 2021. All businesses should have
received their annual business survey package via the post or email.
Upon completion and return; the data supplied becomes confidential. Your data will be added to that provided by other businesses to present an economic picture of activity during 2016 and no one will be able to identify your data that was provided to the Anguilla Statistics Department. The protection of your data is legislated and guaranteed under the Statistics Act of Anguilla, Chapter S60, which also makes the completion of the form(s) mandatory and subject to penalties if not returned. Amongst the criminal offences created under the Act, in particular section 18(b) makes it an offence to refuse or neglect to fill up and supply the particulars required and section 19 provides for punishment including an initial $3,000 fine with imprisonment in default of payment.
If you require a blank form(s), please contact the ASD and one can be collected or delivered to you via email or post. If you are in receipt of this form and your business was not operating during the period under review or has ceased operations, kindly let us know as soon as possible. If you have regularized your business status, informed us and/or signed necessary documents stating the inactivity of our business we sincerely apologize but please inform us. To those businesses that have completed and returned their 2020 Annual Business Survey – National Accounts questionnaire and/or Balance of Payments (BOP) and International Investment Position questionnaire (IIP), the Anguilla Statistics Department says thank you.
