Global travel site, ‘Big 7 Travel’, released its annual list of ‘The 50 Best Beaches In The World’ (https://bigseventravel.com/the-50-best-beaches-in-the-world/) recently, describing their picks as some of the most amazing beaches to visit in 2021. Aggregated scores were used from previous media results, official Blue Flag locations and contributions from the Big 7 Travel editorial team, to select the final 50.
Maundays Bay in Anguilla was named as one of the best beaches in the world, coming in at number 23 on the diverse list, which included black sandy shores, city beaches and plenty of islands, from Myanmar to Mauritius.
“Maundays Bay might not have the grand size of Rendezvous Bay and Shoal Bay, but it makes up for it with its white-sand shores and clear, azure waters. It’s what you imagine the perfect Caribbean island to look like… At night, you can see the lights from neighbouring St. Martin island. It’s beautiful,” said editors at Big 7 Travel.
Other islands in the Caribbean included in ‘The 50 Best Beaches In The World’ were Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Bahamas, and Turks and Caicos.
